I grew up in Kadoka with my parents Wayland and Billie Jo Eisenbraun, and my younger brother Ty. I enjoyed the outdoors, and all things a small community has to offer youth. I was fortunate growing up to know nearly every community members on a first name basis. I graduated from Kadoka High School with 32 in my class and knew everyone of them.
After high school I attended my freshman year of college in Northern Minnesota, but that was just too far away from home. I recieved my Bachelors of Science in Managerial Accounting from National American University in Rapid City South Dakota.
A year after graduating college I was fortunate enough to be able to move back to Kadoka. I live outside of Kadoka with my husband Chris a Kadoka area native our children Hunter 11, Hudson 9, and Lilly 2 and our herd of horses. Having children made me appreciate the values that can be found in a small town even more. I appreciate the fact that everyone watches out for everyone and all the people who say hello when you meet them on the street in the morning.
Small towns are everywhere in the midwest, but a welcoming, friendly, small town filled with hardworking people is harder to find, and I am proud to have it here.
